Marsha Read - Church Secretary
Marsha grew up in rural Brooklyn, attending BGM, and later graduating from the University of Iowa. After college Marsha spent several years traveling and living in different states for retail and hospitality work. Eventually she settled back in Brooklyn.
Marsha stays busy with her own service business and likes to “adopt” every animal she finds. In her free time she enjoys walking, working outside, and completing home projects.
Natalie Cline - Church Pianist
Natalie lives in rural Grinnell and has attended Grace United Methodist Church all her life. She is a registered nurse and works at UnityPoint Health – Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Natalie is married to Roger, and they have three kids – Bailey, Bryson, and Kylie.
Natalie enjoys all types of music and has played the piano since she was 8.
Dean East - Church Custodian
Hi my name is Dean East, you may remember me as the Deanos Pizza man. I grew up in Mechanicsville, Iowa and joined the navy out of high school. In the Navy I worked on weapons elevators, so when I got out I started working on elevators and escalators. In 2004 I joined the State of Iowa inspecting elevators, escalators and amusement rides. I have lived in the Brooklyn area since early 2000. My wife Michelle and I have a blended family of 5, with 8 grandchildren. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting, racing, and my favorite time of the year is Fall for hunting season and Halloween.
